Clyde
Richardson, MDiv, CAC II, SW, is a clinical counselor for West Michigan
Addiction Consultants, PC (WeMAC). He participates in case-management responsibilities
for patients who are in the Professional Recovery System (PRS). In this
position, he provides clinical services for addicted health professionals
and others who are recovering from chemical dependence. He also enjoys lecturing
to religious and other groups that may be struggling to understand the disease
of chemical dependence.
Having completed an internship in the mental health field, and having worked in the arena of addictions counseling since 1988, Clyde brings a depth of knowledge and experience to the WeMAC team of professionals. Clyde holds a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and Religion, a Master's Degree in Ministry from Huntington College, Huntington, Indiana, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a Certified Addictions Counselor II credential from the State of Michigan, and also is a registered Social Worker who is licensed by the State of Michigan.
